AutoVeya Privacy Policy

AutoVeya respects your privacy and is designed to help you manage vehicle information, documents and reminders securely.

Information we collect

AutoVeya may collect and store:

  • Your email address for account creation and sign-in.

  • Vehicle information you enter into the app.

  • Insurance, MOT, tax, breakdown and service information.

  • Photos, documents and files you choose to upload.

  • Notes and other information you choose to add.

  • An internal user/account identifier used to link your data to your account.

AutoVeya may also access your device location when you use location-based features such as “Where am I?”. Location information is only used when you request that feature and is not used for advertising or tracking.

How we use your information

Your information is used only to provide AutoVeya’s features, including:

  • Saving and displaying your vehicle records.

  • Synchronising information between your devices.

  • Providing reminders and renewal information.

  • Allowing you to upload and manage vehicle documents.

  • Providing secure account access.

  • Supporting Family Share features where enabled.

Data storage

Account and vehicle information may be securely stored using third-party cloud infrastructure, including Supabase.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Advertising and tracking

AutoVeya does not use your personal information for third-party advertising.

AutoVeya does not sell your personal information.

AutoVeya does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your information.

Information may only be shared when necessary to provide AutoVeya’s services, when you choose to share information yourself, or when required by law.

Your choices

You can choose what vehicle information and documents you add to AutoVeya.

You may request deletion of your account and associated cloud data using the account-management options available within the app, where provided.

Children’s privacy

AutoVeya is not specifically designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes to AutoVeya or legal requirements.

Any updated version will be published at the same privacy-policy location.
